- Employee Perception Testing – What benefits are really important to employees? What benefits can you cut back with minimal employee resistance? - Summary Plan Description Development – All group health plans subject to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) are required to provide each participant with a Summary Plan Description (SPD). An SPD must be written in a manner calculated to be understood by the average participant and must be sufficiently comprehensive to inform the participant of his rights and obligations under the plan. Cassady Neeser & Brasseur can help clients create, maintain, and update their SPD’s so that they are ERISA compliant. Cassady Neeser & Brasseur can also help clients create “wrap” plans for all of their employee benefit plans.
- Section 125, Premium Only Set-Up – A Premium Only Plan allows employees to pay their portion of insurance premiums with pre-tax dollars, which in turn reduces both the employer’s and the employee’s tax liability. Cassady Neeser & Brasseur can help clients establish an Internal Revenue Code Section 125 Premium Only Plan from the plan implementation outline to a Board of Director’s resolution for the adoption of the plan.
